Spring Mountain Ranch State Park public meeting January 16

 

LAS VEGAS—The Nevada Division of State Parks is holding a public meeting to present recreation planning alternatives for Spring Mountain Ranch State Park on January 16, 2008. The division will present plans developed from public input received at the first meeting on July 5, 2007.

The presentation begins at 6:00 pm followed by a workshop where the public will be asked to give input. Public comment at this meeting is very important in development of the new plan.

The meeting is being held at state parks’ Las Vegas region office at 4747 W. Vegas Drive from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Spring Mountain Ranch: State Parks clarifies planning goals at Southern Nevada park (LVRJ)

LAS VEGAS–A standing-room-only crowd of nearly 70 valley residents packed a meeting room Wednesday night to voice concerns and suggestions regarding future development of Spring Mountain Ranch State Park. They were relieved when state officials dispelled rumors that the 600-acre park just south of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area was to be closed or that parts of it would be sold. State Parks to Hold Public Meeting July 25 on Development of Spring Mountain Ranch State Park

LAS VEGAS—The Nevada Division of State Parks is kicking off its new development planning for Spring Mountain Ranch State Park on July 25, 2007. The division is asking for public input on changes and improvements to the park. A public meeting will be held at 4747 W. Vegas Drive from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
